Limeburners Director's Cut M268

I had the immense pleasure to try this gorgeous dram when Carmeron Syme pulled out a little sample bottle at 'Independents Day' in Melbourne earlier in the year. Impeccable balance between the Limeburners spirit, the sweetness coming from the Muscat, and earthy tones from the oak. Today Limeburners officially released the M268 Director's Cut (clocking in at 61 Vol/Abv). As mentioned on their website:

It is matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and finished in an old Australian Muscat barrel. Exhibiting spice and fruit aromas when neat, a splash of water unleashes malted barley, muscat and vanilla with hints of toffee, caramel and raisins.

Sold out at the distillery, last seen at the Whisky Company for AU$ 370
